I'm the author and photographer of Syd's Recipes. I'm an American chef born and raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA. I love Asian flavors and have a preference for Japanese and Korean cuisine, so many of my dishes incorporate these flavors.
I created Syd's Recipes to serve as a living cookbook I can update and reference throughout my life. Whenever I come up with a new family-favorite recipe, I record it here so I, my friends, family and other home chefs can recreate them.
I love to create so I'm always picking up new hobbies and trying new things. When I'm not busy in the kitchen, I love crocheting, painting, reading or playing games with friends.
I recently graduated from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor's degree in Interactive Design, and I also have a culinary degree from the University of Georgia. I currently work in E-Commerce and Graphic Design for a lampshade company called Royal Design, Inc.
